Feeling rather sick! I stayed in the office to do desk work.

Taskeen Ali: I am doing an MSc in Environment and Development at the London School of Economics doing research on ‘the role of charcoal in a conflict environment’. My key question was to examine whether charcoal is sustaining and funding the conflict in the region. My day job however is at the HM Treasury in the UK. I have been fortunate to get support from HMT to do my studies and contribute back to the UK Government. However I write my personal blog as a student of LSE and none of my views represent those of HMT/ UK Government.
